  • Jaco Scholtz : Hi Earl,you don't have to be part of a club or even have a bike to ride on the track. Western Province cycling offers development bikes to new comers. Why don't you come to the league on 10 August and get to meet some of the newcomers and find out more. You can also mail me at jaco@trackcyclingsa.co.za

I've been competing in road events for more than 20 years and discovered track cycling in 2003. I started through the Western Province track cycling development program and soon started riding more and more on the track. Since then I have successfully competed at provincial and national level.

I like weekend road rides and participating in the monthly track leagues.
