Bellville (Western Cape) – Bellville velodrome 

This track is the heart of Western Cape track cycling. It is situated in Bellville, Cape Town. It is just off the Tyger Valley turn-off from the N1. The velodrome is covered and has a concrete surface. The track is 250m and has an embankment of 42 degrees. It has a VIP room, press box, showers, bike rooms and massage rooms.

It seats 5000 spectators and has hosted rounds of the World Cup, the Tri-nations challenge and various other international meetings.

The track also hosts the annual Maximum Velocity event. This is the biggest inter club track event in Cape Town.

Weekly track development sessions take place on Wednesdays and Sundays. Track leagues are run on a regular basis with each club in the province getting a chance to host an event.
